This is a little out of the “Everyday Living box”, but a movie like this deserves a strong recommendation…Although I knew the storyline, I wasn’t anticipating what I would see on that big screen for the next two hours. SKoDaM is the same thing because they know religious people like repetition. Same Kind of Different as Me tells the incredible true story of an art dealer and his wife whose lives changed after encountering a homeless man. Injustice. I wouldn't even classify this as a faith based film. | Rating: 3/5 Few movies, this year, have had much substance, so this one was a pleasant surprise. Because of a dream, a couple of rich white folks befriend an old homeless black man, and it changes not only their three lives but those of many people in the community. Was this review helpful?
