Overall the rooms were clean but the structure is old so you can hear everything outside which is not that great for two yapping dogs. I ordered a small macchiato and two hot chocolate. It would have been nice for there to at least be decent WiFi in the lobby area (which is separated from the rooms- you have to drive to the rooms) but there was not.
The water temp was great and there is plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Lots of towels. Overall the room did what we needed it to do for two nights!

Our party had two rooms in the East Wing, one king and one double queen. Yavapai Lodge is the only pet-friendly hotel in Grand Canyon, with a number of rooms available for guests traveling with their dog or dogs (up to 2 per room). Also located near the store/deli and restaurant. I would stay here again if I decide not to go camping next time I visit the , which makes it easier to enjoy the park and experience more.Hot water available for morning instant coffee while the rest of the group got ready to go to the Welcome to Grand Canyon Rentals Adventures! It's worse than hostels I have stayed in, yet is priced as if it were a hotel. There's little to no data in the area too, so you feel very disconnected and it's hard to look up things, get directions, etc.We stayed here during our time in Grand Canyon. The rooms are old but well maintained and off season are a bargan - lwss than $150 per night.

We can barely send any messages with the limited bandwidth and WiFi restrictions there without getting out of the room. Large, clean rooms, very quiet, and friendly staff at check-in. Great place to stay! Please keep your distance from these beautiful animals, as with all wild animals, they can be dangerous.Our room was very nice & centrally located which allowed us to get to everything we wanted to get to in a short amount of time!

The AC took a long time to cool off the room, but it eventually got chilly in there. Stayed here in Dec '18 and while I did enjoy my stay, it's a pretty basic hotel especially compared to others in the park (I think) but it was fine for what we wanted - a simple, clean hotel inside the park.We stayed here for 3 nights on the west and brought our two dogs. And we did come with our doggie once and had a good experience. I would definitely stay here again.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We look forward to you returning again in the future. The lodge is literally located in the middle of the park. And of course my building's ice machine was broken. The lodge is conveniently located by the bike trail which leads to the rim trail. Overall you are staying here for the location, as it's located directly inside the park.
