The bathroom is nice and convenient. The chef cooks fine meals based on local ingredients, in particular organic meat. We all enjoyed our meal from the cocktails to the dessert. We had breakfast there and must say it was delicious. Also, they have a great fireplace to dine by and the servers are very attentive to make sure the customers are comfortable sitting by the fireplace.

After the service, a new waitress tell me she told customer the lamb is braised, but it is not, it is a piece...Although in the context of COVID, the restaurant managed to maintain a cosy environment. Charlevoix Museum and Charlevoix Maritime Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Mont Grand-Fonds Ski Resort and Murray Bay Golf Club. Restaurant has several little cozy dining areas therefore never loud or too many people. Chez Truchon is located in La Malbaie. My partner had the maple flavoured mignon de porc that he found tender and very tasty. Pouding de chomeur for desert was excellent.
