It was extremely hot, so we left the window open as of course there is no air conditioning, but then it rained heavily and came into the room, waking us up. As soon as I entered in the room, my 2 year old son was horrified just in the first few moments and didn’t want to be in there for a second. Right next to radiator there were wires sticking out of the wall. Facilities are very basic but clean although rooms smelt of cigarette smoke. Only one toilet working on each floor, so people wouldn't wait. Other than that I would stay there again for that little money that I paid.Basic accommodation in need of updating. 2 of the toilets had no sink to wash your hands I understand the economic model of Formula1 but this was too basic. Overall this was a value for money stay. The beach, casino, Olympic swimming pool, and Dunkerque Kursaal Conference Center are 10 minutes by car, and the Norfolkline t erminal is 7.5 miles (12 km) away.
