Amy - rep, was the only bad thing....she popped in for 5 mins every day, however did not interact with us or want to talk or really do anything! The area where the chalet’s located is really good - there’s a great little bar around the corner where we ended up spending most afternoons. Chacun prendra son temps pour parvenir à l'objectif. While it's said that those who appreciate Tignes do so for the serious skiing over the après ski, this doesn't do justice to the fact that Tignes' 60+ bars/pubs and 4 night clubs provide some of the best nightlife in the Alps. We enjoyed it. Comme indiqué précédemment, le paysage se dévoile à chaque pas vous permettant de reprendre votre souffle et vos forces en dégustant la vue, comme par exemple la vue sur le lac de Tignes avec en arrière plan l'aiquille de la Nous voici au premier lac et ce qui nous marque immédiatement, c'est la présence nombreuse de remontées mécaniques. Would recommend Small points - hot tub did not work, no clean towels all week and bedroom bins not emptied but not the end of the worldGreat position and views across the lake. We enjoyed it. The area where the chalet’s located is really good - there’s a great little bar around the corner where we ended up spending most afternoons. We walked everywhere from the chalet rather than get the buses, you just walk down the road to get to the piste, it’s about a 5 or 10 minute walk which was fine for us. The Aeroski gondola is just a short walk away or if you wish to start skiing in Val Claret then the regular ski shuttle bus service stops just outside the chalet. We went just as a couple; we enjoyed meeting with the other couple and family but it wasn't great sharing with a large group of college friends with whom we had little in common. Pour la première fois, cette année des stages d'initiation à la pêche sont proposés à Tignes à plus de 2000 m d'altitude, et l'activité est accessible de 4 à 70 ans. The chalet staff were fabulous. Above all of this is the Grande Motte Glacier, which rises to a lofty 3450m and is accessible not only during winter but in the summer too. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday. It is not a ski in / ski out chalet and the walk to the nearest lifts (Palafour or Toviere) was about 10 minutes.
