Thks againFirst, upon walking in we were directed to wait at the bar. Rich French and Turkish cuisine with a modern twist. **Plat végétarien sur demande [Vegetarian dish on request] Bewertungen können nur von Gästen gemacht werden, die in diesem Restaurant gegessen haben.Bitte anmelden, um Ihren Beitrag zu speichern. The wine list is somewhat restricted but the prices are very reasonable. The onion soup was bland, the accompaniments with the main were incomprehensible and not very tasty.

Overall value was moderate. This was the best food experience that we received in Paris. The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was lovely, the way dining is supposed to be, like in the good old days!I have been dining here for more than forty years (every time I come to Paris). I did enjoy my French onion soup and my husband liked his ravioli, however the lobster was a tad bland. Would never return. The quality of the food was really disappointing. The waiter brought us champagne at the end, gratis! The dining room is typical of French bistros; outdoor dining is impractical (for us) because the restaurant is situated on a busy corner. Very apologetic but its a serious error with the situation.Superbe endroit et service attentionné - particulièrement cher pour une cuisine qui ne le mérite pas malheureusement.Dennis was a delight and took care of our every whim. All in all, if you are looking for seafood Le Dome is one of the best restaurants in Paris!Food was mediocre- nothing special. Not sure what the problem was. Dessert looked good but at that point I was so aggravated with him that I decided to go elsewhere. It has never disappointed! We were early for our 3:30 reservation but The restaurant closed at 3:30. The most disappointing thing was the way the patrons were allowed to dress - had at least a dozen people walk by our table dressed in jeans, gym shorts, tee shirts, etc.

Established in 1862, Café de la Paix is one of the oldest and best-known restaurants in the city of light. It also has one of the best views from its terrace—the iconic Paris Opera House. If yoy like peace and quiet, ask for a table inside.Light recommendation. The entrees were delicious, I had the duck and it was divine. Cuisine very good and atmosphere pleasantNice place with nice food, but the service wasn’t very good.First, the place was nearly empty and they tried to seat us at a table as far away from the windows as possible, in a remote corner. I will not be returning.Booked this beautiful restaurant on the day ready for a traditional romantic evening meal. Server was terrible. However disappointed with the service because although we explained we cannot have pink meat due to pregnancy which the waiter understood completely and we checked twice it would be cooked well done the steak fillet came out pink! We thought the restaurant was beautiful, very nice decor, elegant, etc. However, in the end it's the food that counts, and it just wasn't up to standard. We loved our dining experience at Cafe de la Paix. A shrimp platter came out with large prawns that were completely encased in their shells and nearly impossible to open and with no accompaniment. They did seat us but let us know, we are closing in 20 minutes. One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had........steak undercooked.....sent back....everyone was finished eating when I received my steak back........still undercooked......service terrible....attitude even worseAmazing restaurant.

We really appreciated it. The restaurant is old world beautiful, like eating in a palace complete with painted ceilings. There was nothing but DELIGHT! The service is amazing. The food and service were excellent. The food and the service were sub-par at best for a restaurant that pulled such high reviews and at that price point. I had a cocktail and salmon tartare - both were awesome!I regret my daughter and I experienced a severe stomach upset after eating the pea and cheese starterBest desert I’ve had in my life, great meal generally and very well balanced.A wonderful truly French dining experience. The staff was not to blame: they made a lot of effort to provide excellent service. He was rude, inattentive and towards the end of my meal he took my drink that I was not finished with and put it away. (Bei Bestellung von Flaschenweinen). !- Bring and your Wallet!Die Atmosphäre und das Essen waren sehr gut. Contact Us; About Café de la Paix . The waiters were so attentive and kind! The food was average but the prices were outrageous, even for Paris. We finished with a terrific cheese selection. We were still a little hungry at the end. Die Bedienung hatte an dem Abend viel zu tun und verwechselte die Bestellungen innerhalb der Gruppe, war aber nicht so tragisch.
I was so surprised. Very grateful :)Well worth the visit. Service is impeccable.
